To create an Exodus wallet, you’ll first need to download and install the Exodus software from their official website or app store. After installation, the first thing you will want to do is record the key to your wallet, which involves generating a 12-word seed phrase for security. You’ll need to securely store this phrase, as it allows you to recover your wallet if needed.
Your seed phrase is like the title to your house or car. It is proof of ownership for your wallet and all money in it. Additionally, under no circumstances should you ever give this pass phrase to anybody.
EVER.
Additionally if you are on mobile you can backup your wallet to your Google Drive or iCloud. While this is also good do not skip writing down the seed phrase.
When Exodus is loaded it will show a selection of crypto tokens such as BTC and ETH. We want to add the specific tokens we will be utilizing to the dashboard as well to make life easier. Specifically we will be adding:
These are stable coins (crypto currency that is pegged to the US Dollar so its value is not volatile) on the Sol network. There are many networks available but we will be focusing on Solana. A crypto network is like a group of computers playing a game of “who has what.” The key is to stay on one network here, and today we will be staying on Solana.

From the main screen of your wallet select the Assets Menu

In the search bar type Tether
From the list of choices that appears find Tether USD>Solana and check mark the selection circle for it.
This will add Tether USDT as token to receive and trade with from your assets

Repeat this process for USDC and PYUSD. Make sure you are selecting them on Solana Network.
Follow the next steps to purchase crypto and send to your wallet
